From the 19th till the 22nd of January in Kyiv the highly expected Ukrainian Youth conference ‘Alpha – together to the future’ took place. During the last three years the charity fund ‘Hope from heart to heart’ working with the Norwegian charity fund ‘Help for Ukraine’ have been organizing such programs. This year besides the Norwegian guests and the participants from all over the Ukraine our conference was joined by Kuleba Mykola Mykolayovych, empowered by the President of Ukraine in cases of children’s rights. He expressed his gratefulness to the fund and to the each team member personally. Also, the founder of the fund Viktoriya Raychinec got the special reward and gratitude from the president of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko. Because exactly her initiative, hard work and the desire to make our country a better place became the foundation of such global conferences.
Already for 10 years, the main purpose of all the projects remains in lifting young citizen’s conscious up and the work concerning our future, which can be built only by our common effort. It is a pleasure to understand, that all these conferences are not in vein. Every year people who visited Alpha at least once, tell unique stories about unreal changes which will not be seen in any of the movies. Young people give up drinking, smoking, renew their relations with parents, become active in the social life, make families and simply become happier because of their new lifestyle. And this is not weird, because Alpha conferences always ‘infect’ with their atmosphere, in which even the most silent people start to open their hearts and poor out everything they kept for years and everything that was bothering them all that time. Only here you can listen to the real stories of young people, which do not obviously coincide with their age. But even those, who have already gone through a lot of life difficulties pull themselves together and decide to start a new life. And those are the moments, you understand, that even the Ukrainians with a different mentality from all the parts of Ukraine can become good friends, can help and support each other and can make our country better together.
Also, our conference was joined by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the fund ‘Hope from heart to heart’, the president of the Ukrainian Biblical Community Komendant Grygoriy Ivanovych. He said special words as he always does, which definitely got into the listeners hearts and left a lot of to think about in future.
So, we should say that ‘Alpha’ people spent their anniversary 10th conference together. New meetings, familiar faces, respected people, bright emotions and unbelievable transformations – all of this make Alpha and each participant special. Glory to God, Who gives wisdom to the organization team, inspiration to the volunteers and the desire to the participants. Because only with His help all things are possible!
